![]() ![]() Some people love how Centurions shoot, and some don't they balance and shoot differently than full size Berettas from what I've read. There's a tiny part of me that wishes I got the Elite instead of the Wilson, but.my local store had the Wilson, and no Elites, so that was what I got.Įdited - Centurions are kind of like Glock 19X - full size frame, compact slide, so not quite a straight 226 comparison.but close enough. Amazingly enough I shot that very pistol today to qualify. That’s what I use to AIWB carry all of my Berettas, including my 92X Centurion. If you want the best-of-breed in the Beretta, pick up a Langdon LTT Elite - M9A1 frame, Vertec slide, some additional factory dehorning.I love my Brig Tac, and love my 92A1 almost as much, and if/when I get another Beretta it'll be an LTT Elite. Long term fan of the 92FS, but for Conceal Carry, at least for me, the Beretta 92x Centurian is my 1. If you get a recent made Sig and it works and shoots well, you won't be under served by it they're still good guns.īerettas only run into issues with holsters 92A1 has it's own holster, 92s are either railed or non railed (M9A1) and 92A1s wont fit in either, then there's the Wilson Brig Tac and it's unique holster requirements. They do still shoot well, mags are again available and inexpensive, tons of parts and aftermarket available, etc. Sigs are ok, but are suffering from quality and QC problems, and have been for some time. Right now I'm working on transitioning to a Beretta I mean, it's super reliable, tons of parts and aftermarket, mags are inexpensive and available everywhere, quality has never been better, and there's literally a metric shit ton of models to choose from. ![]() The decocker on the Sig is very righty-friendly, but can be pretty easily worked by lefties by simply rotating the gun on the right (so the ejection port is facing the ground) and using a finger or thumb on your right hand to punch the decocker. Sigs.well, supposedly they have all the bugs worked out of the long extractor models they currently sell, and I probably wouldn't feel bad in getting one. I vastly prefer that model vs the F/FS safety model. It's a little more flippy imo but really not enough to matter any appreciable amount.īerettas, you can either get a G model, or buy the kit for $50 to convert the FS to G. The Sig with it's standard trigger breaks further forward, which seems to favor those with larger hands/longer fingers. I have XL sized hands and need to work on shooting my berettas some more. The Beretta grip is a little wider than the Sig IMO, but the trigger breaks further back in DA.it will probably fit medium/small hands better, especially with the newer super thin G10 grips you can get from Langdon or Wilson Combat. The Berettas shoot like their slide is on bearings super smooth. I have both (Well, sort of - a 226 Mk25/Navy, 228 (compact 226, and even fits the same holsters), P220 and a Beretta 92a1 and a Wilson Brig Tac). ![]()
